Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ Self-Titled Debut Album 50th Anniversary Party at The Far Out Lounge

50 years ago this month, on November 9, 1976, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers released their self-titled, debut studio album on Shelter Records. Recorded and mixed at the Shelter Studio in Hollywood, California this, the very first record of the band's illustrious career, introduced the iconic rock band to the world with signature songs like Breakdown and American Girl.

And the rest, as they say, is history!

We hope you'll join us as Austin's definitive tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Damn Torpedoes, commemorate this historic milestone on Saturday, November 14th at The Far Out Lounge and Stage by performing the album in its entirety, followed by a second set of the classic hits that were to come in the legendary career of Tom and his band!
