About the Event:

Come celebrate Mardi Gras by raising funds for your favorite, local, and volunteer produced festival! This event will be full of your local music jams, dancing, and joy with a nod of the horns to the culture that inspires many of us: Mardi Gras in NOLA!

Featuring Performances by Austin’s community brass bands:

1:00pm - Moon Tower Brass Band

1:45pm - Blowcomotion

2:30pm - Yes Ma'am Brass Band

3:15pm - Big Wy's Brass Band

4:30pm - Minor Mishap Marching Band

Our Mission:

HONK!TX is a nonprofit, community festival that brings street bands to perform for free in the public spaces of Austin, Texas. Mobile and unamplified, HONK!TX bands transform everyday locations into spontaneous stages, dissolving the line between crowd and performers. HONKITX is a celebration of community, collaboration, and creative expression.

Silent Auction:

Amazing items donated by local businesses, artisans, and musicians: Whole Earth Provisions, Cherrywood Coffeehouse, Milky Way Shakes, Hotel San Jose, Blowcomotion and the Yes Ma'am Brass Band. Need not be present to win, delivery available within the ATX area.
